Privacy Policy for AI Greeting Card Maker - Wishes

WellWisher – Wish Card Maker (“the App”) is developed and published by Macro Soar (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the App.

By installing or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Images and Photos: When you select images from your device gallery or templates within the App to create greeting cards or collages, those images are processed locally on your device. In some features (such as AI image generation or background removal), images may be temporarily sent to our third-party service providers solely to provide that specific feature (see Section 4).
  • AI-Generated Text and Messages: When you use AI features to generate wish text or messages, the text prompts you enter are sent to our AI providers only for generating the requested content.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

The App itself does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, phone number, or address.

However, certain technical information may be processed by third-party services used by the App, such as:

  • Device information (device model, operating system version)
  • Approximate usage data (e.g., when a feature is called)

This information is handled according to the privacy policies of those third parties (see Section 4).

2. Permissions Used

The App requests the following Android permissions to provide its core features:

  • READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE Used to allow you to pick images from your device gallery to create greeting cards and collages.
  • INTERNET Used to call AI services (text and image generation) and other online functionality.
  • RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED Used for reminders or scheduled notifications (if you enable them in the App).
  • POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+) Used to show reminders and other relevant notifications, only if you grant permission.

We do not use these permissions to access data that is unrelated to the core features of the App.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above for the following purposes:

  • Providing core features: Creating, editing, and saving greeting cards, collages, and AI-generated content.
  • Background removal and image editing: Processing your selected images to remove backgrounds or apply other visual effects.
  • AI text and image generation: Generating wish messages and images based on prompts you provide.
  • Notifications: Sending optional reminders or notifications you enable inside the App.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Third-Party Services

The App may use the following third-party services:

  • Google and/or Gemini AI APIs for text/image generation.
  • Hugging Face or similar AI providers for some AI features.
  • Google ML Kit (Selfie Segmentation) for background removal.

These services may temporarily process the data you send (such as text prompts and images) solely to provide the requested feature. Their use of information is governed by their own privacy policies.

5. Data Storage and Retention

  • On your device: Edited images, collages, and saved cards are generally stored locally on your device or in your gallery. You can delete them at any time from your device.
  • On third-party servers: Data sent to AI or background-removal providers is typically processed transiently (for the duration of the request). We do not maintain our own server-side database of your personal content.

We do not intentionally keep any server-side logs that directly identify you, beyond what third-party providers themselves log as part of their normal operations.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contact@macrosoar.com so we can take appropriate action.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including limiting data collection and relying on reputable third-party providers. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Choices and Controls

  • Permissions: You can grant or revoke permissions (such as storage/media or notifications) at any time through your device settings.
  • Deleting content: You can delete cards, images, or collages directly from your device and gallery.
  • Uninstalling the App: You can uninstall the App at any time to stop all further data collection and processing by the App on your device.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or applicable laws. We will post the updated policy within the App or on this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top.

Your continued use of the App after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
